Hi! I'm Sunandan. Pronounced (SUE-NUN-DONE). A bit of a mouthful isn’t it?
To put you at ease, even while growing up in India, I heard different version of my names. And, the alphabet soup behind my name? I earned those globally respected credentials after going through rigorous training and meeting ethics and experience requirements in the areas of investment management and financial planning.
After growing up in India and managing over 200,000 chickens (and 70 employees) for almost five years to run the family business, I came to the U.S. to earn an MBA from Texas Christian University and eventually ended up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where my wife grew up.
Before launching Dhamma Capital, I gained invaluable experience in providing wealth management services while working for a major broker-dealer, a couple of prominent investment advisors and a local community bank in the wealth management department. Over the years, I worked with individuals, families, trusts and retirement plans of small companies, offering the best available financial advice and successfully managing their investment portfolios.
My wife and I have two adorable kids (sorry, this is where my bias comes in!) and we reside in the foothills of Mt. Diablo, about 40 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. When not playing referee between my kids, you may find me exploring nature, mingling with neighbors, volunteering, reading or watching a tender “chick flick” with my wife. I actually enjoy them.
